07/11/2022 Monday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Gamma Gayle, Melody, Marilyn and Team R&B💕.

I received more Rocky and PO8 photos from both Gamma Gayle and Melody.  The photos pretty much speak for themselves in terms of cuteness overload. Also included in the photos is the other Kaimana Beach visitor Kaiwi RK96.  After checking the photos I found it amusing that Gayle captured Rocky & PO8 sitting by a sign. Melody captured the aftermath of Mom and pup by the sign.

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:05 to 1:45 and she saw three seals on island.
MO7 and PO7 were on LPB during her entire viewing session. She watched one nursing session and lots of snoozing. Marilyn got a view of PO7's belly today, but with poor lighting conditions it didn't allow for any determination of gender, but Marilyn "thinks" PO7 is male.
PO6 hauled out to the Lanikai side of LPB at 12:29 the first time. PO6 went clear up to the cliff at the back of LPB and did the usual weaner things like, picking up items from the beach and mouthing them. PO6 also did the head in the sand and moved a fair distance in that position. Then PO6 went back in the water about 12:45. Then Marilyn found it hauled out again at 1:22 and it went into snooze mode.

Team R&B started the day at the bay. They were standing on shore looking around for the seals. Then they suddenly see RP30 Puka haul up on the rocks. He is looking small and very green, but is doing just fine.

They went to the outfall to check and once again they spotted little RL20 foraging in the outfall. He was very busy and the fishermen were talking about how fast he was. RL20 didn't haul out in any of the spots they checked out today.

Next stop they see a huge male on the rocks. When they took a look there was Kaale RH32. He was
rolling about, looking around and then left.
Upon further observations they spotted an adult female on upper rocks. They went to get an ID and there was KG54 Huakai laying on her back, snoozing. Kaale missed her completely.
When they did a recheck later, they saw Kaale RH32 bobbing up and down looking up at the rocks again.  Then they lost sight of him.

Team R&B headed out to some of the beaches on the west side and found two seals on shore. There were people posing next to RP84 Pe'ekai.  This little guy has done a good job keeping himself hidden. Of course Team R&B was mad seeing these folks with their little one.
Next to Pe'ekai was RL42 Leia annoyed by the humans. She remained with RP84.

Their last find was RN14 Kalani. He was alone sleeping on the rocks. They noticed a new marker on his right side of his face.  Some type of bite. (shark?)
