Tammy is on Molokai enjoying a couple if days with visiting family. She was nice enough to send a couple of photos of seals they spotted today. First there was R421 a big adult male. Then there was RKB2 and lastly was RS04 a young female looking quite green.
Team R&B started their day at the bay and immediately spotted a thin green seal. They were thrilled to find Miss Kala RH76. This is her first sighting since she weaned PO8 on Rabbit Island. She looking thin but seems just fine. She did not move from the spot where she was resting and slept the day away.
Nice to have her home on the west side, hopefully she won't be disturbed.
The only other find today was at the cliffs. They spotted a seal from afar, where they had just passed by.They checked it out and there was a green male, two red tags. They determined it was RP30 Puka who looks like he is almost ready to molt.
Team R&B did see some action out on the water. Three were lots of jet skis flying by and a couple of boats. They weren't sure what was going on, but once they got to the area concluded it most likely is a movie being filmed.
