Team Billand first find today was RN14 Kalani he was on the rocks alone, and making noises. Junior Sealette Olivia was with Grandma looking to see if another seal was coming around. But there were no other seals just lots of people in and out of the water.
Kalani kept looking to the left, he suddenly took off and disappeared.
Team Billands last find for the day was Lei Ola RH48 at a west side location. She was to the right sleeping way in on the rocks alone. The waves were rising, she didn't care just stayed in place. She is looking nice and plump and healthy.
On their last check there were fishermen in the area, but no Lei Ola there now.
Marilyn was out at the Pier from 2 - 3:30 today. It was mostly overcast with a couple of periods of sun. Initially she saw no seals, then about 2:15 she became aware of two seal in the waterfront rocks in front of the 3BS. One of the seals was weaner PO4 by his size, coloring "tick" shape and no tags.
The other seal never really hauled out so it is being reported as a UU. Marilyn's guess it's a sub-adult from what little she could see.
About 2:30 pm PO4 hauled out in the middle cliff area on the waterfront rocks and was still there when she left at 3:30.
Unfortunately Marilyn was having technical difficulties with her computer reading the SDHD card from the camera. So we have no pictures.
