Team Billand got to the outfall at 6:20 am and spotted three seals in the outfall. Two were on the left side and one coming in from the KoOlina side. They were able to ID da Benny from his facial scars, who is very calm in his behavior in the outfall. He stayed below mostly, then would suddenly pop out and then back out again.
The other seal was Ka'ale RH32 who is being is usual butt-head stealing fish from the fishermen.
The third seal is being reported as an U/U, it was hard to see in the dark light and it did not stay long.
Ka'ale is very vocal going from right to left, chasing something by the right side of the wall. Then Team Billand see it's a fish Akule, which he gobbled down.
Benny disappeared and so did the UU, but good ol' Ka'ale is still stuffing himself at the outfall.
Team Billand left the site and Ka'ale remained.
Just before 9 am Team Billand arrived at a west side location. They found Benny RE74 laying with RG28 on the rocks. RG28 seems like he wants to move and he eventually makes his was into the shallow pond and Benny followed.
Benny enters the shallows and they grumble for a bit and then they settle down. Benny has put on a lot of weight, looking robust. G28 looks fine all of them getting so green.
Then at 11 am Benny had departed and Ka'ale is there with RG28. He immediately greets G28 who is somewhat in the shallow pond. He doesn't much care that Ka'ale is there, he just lays in the
shallows and Ka'ale settles down.
Team Billand moved on to another west side location. Their last critter of the day was Lei Ola RH48.
She might have been the U/U but no way of knowing. She is by herself enjoying the hot sun.
The waves are getting more forceful breaking over her and causing her to move about. She moves up clinging to the rocks. Move waves come and she decides to move to the right and higher rocks. She made it and now resting there in peace.
