10/15/2018 Monk Seal Dailies: U/U, RO28, Double Rainbow, RR70, RH48, and a Baby Dolphin

Today's dailies are brought to you by Team Billand.
They started their day at the crack of dawn checking in at the outfall. They spotted a seal coming close but it continued on its way. They think it was Ka'ale RH32, but will report it as a U/U.
Team Billand was also greeted with a beautiful double rainbow.

Next they headed out to the plains to check on Pohaku. There she was still on shore fronting the cabins. The folks staying there were in the process of packing up to leave. Team Billand called in her location to the hotline.

They headed back to the west side and found RIP RR70 on a beach on the lower rocks. He was alone,
looking green and healthy. Tide was coming up and covering him at times.

Their next find was the beautiful Lei Ola. She was in the same spot as yesterday, looking fat and healthy. She found a comfy spot on the rocks.

Although they made the Ka'ena West trek they came up empty.  I am not sure what part of their day this occurred but Barb was able to capture a BABY dolphin leaping out of the water. Needless to say a very cool moment. Thank you Barbara for sharing.

Ka'ale is that you?
