July 14, 2026 Tuesday's Dailies

They headed out to the pup site and when they arrived both mom and pup were on dry sand. It was super low tide. They watched and Rocky barely moved. PO11 moved and nursed several time, while mom just laid there motionless. She did hiccup twice, poor thing is probably hungry.  

It was probably three hours when the tide finally came up over the rocks. Pup woke up and played with rocks, Rocky stayed snoozing.  Then PO11 slapped mom as if to tell her... Come on let's play, the water is here !!

Momma Rocky got up, kissed the kid, moved toward birth side, looked

around, then Rocky did something they had never seen her do before. She hung over the side of the rocks as if she wanted to head out to sea. PO11 cried out, they met, mom hugged her, then moved to deeper water, played in the surf as tide came in. After awhile they moved towards the driftwood area, by the rocks and hung out. Rocky showed interest in climbing up on the rocks, she made it with lots of effort. PO11 came up next for another nursing session.

Team R&B called it a day about 2 pm, mom and pup were still on the rocks.
