May 9, 2023 Tuesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 11:53 to 1:53 and there were a total of six seals on island.
Initially when Marilyn arrived there was only Sadie RB12 and PO4 on island.
They were on LPB and PO4 was nursing. A short time later PO4 headed into the water without Momma Sadie. That made Sadie rush down and vocalizing to the kid. They hauled back out about 20 minutes later and went into snooze mode before another nursing session. PO4 is looking good, and Sadie is getting thinner but still has some reserves.

Marilyn became aware of a small seal among the waterfront rocks near 1BS at 12:28. She suspects it had been there before and only just noticed. Juvenile Female: juvenile size, light gray female belly, not sure about tags. The J/F stayed among the rocks so it was difficult to get any good photos.

PO3 was apparently somewhere in the water and did not make an appearance between 2BS and middle cliff until 1:18. PO3 moved up a bit and went into snooze mode for the rest of Marilyn's viewing session.

At 1:16 pm Marilyn became aware that an Adult Female had hauled out about 40 feet of the 3BS. The A/F was adult size, light grayish brown female belly, and two red tags. This may be the same A/F that has been there the last two days.

At 12:23 Marilyn noticed a seal on the SRI inlet. It hauled out later onto the rock flats. Juvenile Male: juvenile size, light male belly and two red tags.

Team R&B first find today was the lovely Kala RH76. She had just hauled in and landed on the rocks. She was alone and went into snooze mode for the day.
Next they found their beloved Kaale RH32 again. He was in a different location than yesterday, he must of liked seeing them yesterday. He was alone and resting. His snout is getting to be quite green again.

At another location on the rocks were two seals. One was in the pond and it took them a while to get an ID. All its markers were hidden, but after two hours, the seal showed his scar below his tags. They were thrilled to see it was Lefty RG28. They haven't seen him in awhile. He stayed in his private pond.
Next was Kai RM31 snoozing on the rocks, also not moving much in two hours. Then he showed them his chest scar which is getting harder to see, since he's growing up.

Lastly after a long day searching they headed further west. There they found RP30 Puka who was
alone. Since he was easy to see they left quickly not to draw attention to him.

Along with all the others today Team R&B saw the weird circles in the sky. Probably a chem-trail why they were circling who knows.
