Team R&B started their day at the bay. They found RH76 Kala had landed on left side on rocks. She is looking healthy and plump. They were happy to see her again, especially with all the big surf out there.
The dolphins were out putting on a show for all those who were around to see.
Next they went over the outfall. They spent lots of timewatching a seal foraging among the snorkelers. They saw cc scars and the seal didn't have any tags. It was R413 Makamae. She didn't seem to mind that there were folks so close, she kept diving. She would surface for a period of time but never landed.
And to their delight, they spotted a bird sitting in the water just resting. It was their new little friend "Baggie" the boobie. After he rested then flew off in the waianae direction. He seems to be doing okay.
Lastly they headed over to another west side location. Once again they found RM31 Kai snoozing inland. He was alone looking all comfy and seems to be doing just fine.
RG28 Lefty was on lower rocks. A huge set of waves came barreling in, and the water shot out of the rocks onto Lefty. He got drenched, but he just flipped over.
The next set of waves hit him again but this time he vocalized. It was pretty funny and he just stayed in place.
Team R&B didn't see anymore seals but did spend time watching the waves.
