Team R&B started this morning very early and found Miss Kala RH76. She was high up and snoozing alone. It appears she might start her molt, around her chest area there is a spot starting. They could only see her RH76 tag. She was still there when they checked back later.
At another west side location they found RG32 hauling in on lowerrocks, A crab crawled on his face, his only reaction was to lift his head and go back to sleep. The crab continued his journey over RG32.
At another location it was hard to view, but they spotted RL20 Kalua. He was alone and snoozing on the rocks. While they watched he didn't move around much.
They did see lots of dolphins jumping and putting on show once again. They are truly amazing.
Next they headed over to secrets and found two seals on shore. There was Aukai RL12 and RN14 Kalani together again. There were three signs still out from yesterday. Team R&B spent time educating folks. They met a really nice couple from California, who were really interested in Monk seals. It was nice to be talking with folks with a genuine interest and respect. Team R&B called the hotline and left the area.
On a second visit to the bay they found RM31 Kai snoozing to the right. He was alone on the rocks, looking nice and plump.
RH76 was still there on her side resting just fine.
From there they went to the cliffs and found R3CX Nalu. He was alone resting in a small pond.
As they were going along the coast line, they saw what they thought was a seal. So they turned around and checked. Sure enough there was a green male snoozing in a small pond alone. It was RP30 Puka.
