09/20/2022 Tuesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Melody and Team R&B💕

Melody was out today and went to visit new weaner Lehiwa Q72 with her friend Diane. They spent a couple of hours sitting ans watching her while she snoozed. Then she found some "toys" that she played with in the sand and water. She is quite a roly-poly little girl. Right Spot took good care of her. While they were there several folks stopped by to see her.

Team R&B started at the bay and found the beautiful female RH76 Kala. She was on the rocks alone
snoozing. They waited for a long time to see how her molt was coming along, but she didn't cooperate. There were lots of flies around her and bugging her, especially around her face.

Next at tracks they saw something that looked like a fat seal, but though it was was going to be shadows. Then they saw it move and so they headed closer to the area. It was Nalu R3CX, a woman on site put out the signs once Team R&B texted her.

Team R&B headed over to see if Aukai was around. Sure enough he was there with signs and ropes up and thankfully a volunteer on site.

On their next stop they found RG28 Lefty on the rocks.  Near by him was KG54 Huakai who hasn't been around for awhile. Both were sleeping and doing just fine. KG54 is looking fat, and RG28 was content to have her next to him.

At another west side location they looked around and there up in high rocks hiding was a big seal. They had a hard time determining which seal it was because he never moved to show much. But they gathered it was RG32 resting peacefully on his own.
If they hadn't already covered enough ground, they decided to make the Kaena West trek. They found two little seals just five feet apart on the rocks both in small ponds. Weaner RQ24 was barely visible, but he did move enough for them to get his ID. He is quite chubby and could hardly move in his pond.
The other was RP30 Puka on his side. He is about 55% molted, and is going to be really handsome when he is finished.

Lastly they were thrilled to see the dolphins again!
