09/22/2022 Thursday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Team T&D and Team R&B💕

Team T&D hiked out to Kaena point and met up with Lesley. Their first find was Lina RL98 in a spot where she had not been seen before. Actually they had not ever seen any seal in this particular spot.

Next they found Kami RL74. She was in a spot where she has been seen many times before.

Along with the seals they saw a couple Bristle-Thighed Curlews. They also saw a Black Noddy, that had a lure hooked to its chest and dragging some line.

Lastly they saw RG32 do a lap in the main pool. He didn't stay around, and they didn't see hime the rest of the day.

Team R&B started at the bay and there were lots of the homeless folks walking about. They did spot Kala RH76 nice and snug in the rocks high up. They did talk to one of the ladies and told her the seal was a female. She wondered why the seal went so far up. Another guy same along running to go surf, Team R&B cautioned him about the seal. In return the guy started yelling out to the seal, and it was clear Kala was agitated. Thankfully the guy went to surf and all was fine after that.

Team R&B tried to assess her molt, but Kala didn't cooperate at all.

Next stop they originally saw nothing when they first arrived other than lots of people. Then they happen to see some movement and sure enough it was a seal. It was Lefty RG28 coming in. He looked at the rocks went around and then was gone.

They decided to take a ride out to secrets and only found tourist no seals. After awhile they spotted Kaale RH32, looking and bobbing his body up and down. He landed to the left of the cove and settled down.

Then they saw another seal coming in fast, it was RL12 Aukai. She came in and cautiously landed, then she saw Kaale who approached her from zero to 60!! She whooped at him a bit, then they settled down. Team R&B called the hotline and a volunteer came by after while. They took the signs that were up and put up signs that she brought. Team R&B left after that.
