Melody sent a video from her visit with Right Spot and PO9 from the other day. Always cute to see them in action.

Team T&D made their way to the north shore. Their first find was weaner RQ58 (Rockys kid). What a nice surprise that must have been. Although he seems fine, unfortunately he was hauled out on a beach with a lot of debris.

Their next find was Right Spot R016 and PO9. The kid is looking good, nice and round. Weaning could happen in the near future.

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:15 to 2:30 and there were people on island today. (unauthorized

people). A report was made to DOCARE.

On LPB where three divers were walking there was seal. It was an Adult Male: adult size, tannish green male belly and at least one red ta. Could be the same A/M reported on Saturday.

At the opposite end of the island on RRB was weaner Mahina RQ44. She was showing off her light female belly and her tags were visible.

Team R&B arrived at a west side location and found an adult male on lower rocks. He wasn't giving them much to go on for an ID. They could see a tag but couldn't read it and a second tag was broken. He was reported as a U/M, who left shortly after the waves got to him.

At seal inlet area they spotted RM31 Kai. When they checked later he was way inland, alone and snoozing.

Next they spotted a green seal from afar, the seal galumphed up higher due to the surf.

It was RH32 Kaale.  Something got his interest from higher up, Team R&B couldn't figure out what it was. He finally settled down, so they hung out watching people in the water surfing and snorkeling. 

Suddenly they got a glimpse of seal coming in towards RH32. The seal came in stealth mode, sneaking up to Kaale.

It was RG28 Lefty and when Kaale awoke they fought. Not a huge fight but boys being boys. It was as if Lefty wanted Kaale to leave, as he kept bugging him. 

On their way to Kaena west they found RL70 Leina. She was snoozing alone, looking nice and fat. There was no one around bothering her. Today makes day 5, maybe she will molt soon?  Only Leina knows.

They did make it out to Kaena west but didn't find any seals.
