Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 10:55 to 12:40 and there were three seals on island today.
Initially together not far from the 3BS were two seals:
S/F: subadult to adult size female with greenish tan female belly and two red tags.
About 11:25, a juvenile female hauled out near the tow seals above. J/F: juvenile size, light female belly and two red tags.
Not long after Marilyn started viewing at about 11 am, a seal hauled out by itself between 3BS and SRI. Marilyn believe this was a S/M subadult size, tan male belly and two red tags. She did not see a right side scar so that rules out RK24.
Team R&B were out at their first stop they found two handsome males on the rocks resting together peacefully. There was RH32 Kaale looking larger than large. Then there was RL08 who is looking fine, but not as big as the last time they saw him.
Next they saw RL20 Kalua foraging off area. They never saw him land so they were only able to get photos of him in the water. He's going to be mighty fat when he does land.
Then they found RL12 Aukai and RN14 Kalani were on shore. There was a zone already in place and lots of folks were out. They called the hotline.
Kalani and Aukai were resting together until they both took off and later go to another lagoon.
They headed over to tracks and found their new favorite girl KG54 Huaka'i. She is looking gorgeous in her new coat. She was comfortably resting and the waves were slapping at her. Eventually she turned and moved higher up.
