This morning Team R&B went searching and even waited at certain spots for seals to show up, but there were none. They sat at another location and watched the whales from afar. The surf was pounding and they could feel the mist of the waves from the rocks. Needless to say there were plenty surfers out today.
Finally at the end of their search they found little RP30 Puka snuggled in the rocks. He hardly moved at all. People arrived to the area, so Team R&B left quickly to not draw attention to his hiding spot.
Melody went up to the north shore with her friend Diana to check out the albatross. On their way home they decided to check out a couple of beaches. The only seal they came upon RW02 PvKauai laying on the beach peacefully. They got a shot of his W77 tag. The surf was high and the tide was rolling in, but RW02 didn't move. Thankfully the beach was nearly empty. They didn't stay long as it was late in the afternoon.
