09/03/2020 Thursday Stay-Home Monk Seal Dailies

 

This morning started off with R3CX Nalu hauling up at seal inlet. He was snoozing alone and would remain there.  While observing Nalu a laynet was seen off shore but in an area where the seals would come to haul out. The abandon net was called into the hotline, and DLNR tip line.  Volunteers arrived and hopefully they were able to do something. (would be nice to know if in fact the net was removed).

Leina RL70 arrived came in at seal inlet and thankfully the net was to the right of the cove. She hauled up and put herself in between the rocks and stayed put.
