Today's dailies are brought to you by Team Billand and they had a busy day.
Team Billand found Ka'ale RH32 doing his thing at the outfall at 6:40 this morning. They stayed and watched until he finally left and headed over to electric beach to sleep. They went and sat with him for a few hours.
R407 Kawika was snoozing alone at another nearby west side location. When they did a recheck Kawika was still there. They noticed a little spot perhaps starting his molt.
Just before 10 am Kalani RN14 was seen partly in the water and on the rocks. He was doing an impression of a hippo.
Checking in at another westside location they found Kolohe RW22 on lower rocks snoozing alone.
RL20 Kalua was on lower rocks, with waves washing over him. He galumphed pass Kolohe to get inland and went to sleep. Kolohe galumphed towards him but stopped before getting to him and went to sleep on a sand patch. While on site it rained a bit, and as they were walking away they spotted a seal on top of the rocks. It was RL70 Leina. She scurried up and over the rocks and landed on the little sand patch. Kolohe did not react. She is looking quite cute in her new coat.
At 1:45 Team Billand spotted Aukai RL12 at a westside location. They also saw Kawika was still there by the bathhouse. They notices people taking photos and saw Ka'ale was the subject. There were dogs running around the area. Team Billand called the hotline. While taking some photos they notice Ka'ale has a line coming from the right corner of mouth and the line was wrapped around his body. This was reported to the hotline.
At 2:10 they returned to electric beach, and as they were leaving noticed a 4th seal galumphing on shore. They not sure but believe this was Kalani. By the time they could get closer the seal was leaving.
