Team Billand found RL70 Leina on mid rocks again. This makes day five, which indicates she might be getting ready to molt. She did not expose her belly so there was no evidence of her starting.
Out at Ka'ena West they found a seal snoozing on his side. There was a big cookie scar above the left fore flipper. He was very cooperative and flashed his tags. It was Kainoa RN05. He has a hook on the left side of his face with a short line attached. HE seems to be fine and resting comfortably on the rocks.
Team T&D hiked Ka'ena Point today, they went their separate ways once they arrived. They came
across Lesley multiple times during the hike. The first find was RG28 Lefty he was near Luana's pool. Next there was Luana RN58 at hidden beach. She is looking pretty with her shiny new coat.
They spotted a seal who finally surfaced, which provided enough markers to ID R330 Squinty. A little further down from Squinty in another tidepool was RO40 Ka'ena.
There was a seal on the coral beach of the main pool was RL74 Kami.
Lastly they found RL98 Lina on back beach. Not bad Team T&D six seals!
