10-16-2013 DB's Dailies: Irma@MB, Kea@AD, Kolohe@RI, Kermit@WP, Pohaku@Secrets

I found Irma (R010) waiting for me at the far right end of Makapuu Beach at 0600. I cordoned her off. On my 1014 recheck she had departed. Her molt was 90 %. She departed at 1014, but was back at 1600.

　

The Kea Quest began at dark as usual. It would be 0928 before I found him thanks to fisherman posse member Bobo, reporting him on the rocks at AD. When I arrived at 0936 I found Kea (RN46) on the water front rocks, 75 yds east of the AD wall. I put up a cordon and he has remained the rest of the day.

　

At 1049 I found Kolohe (RW22) at the far left end of the beach on Rabbit Island.

　

Team Billand reported Kermit (R012) fronting #1706, White Plains, at 1243. He was gone on their 1415 check.

　

The Billands reported Pokahu (RO28) at Secrets, at 1727. Apparently she had been there all day but there were no calls.

 

Recieved word today from Sean Guerin that he will be leaving in November, for a future in brewing (every beer drinking man's dream). He is a really good guy, and I will miss him out in the sand.
