Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:09 to 2:23 pm and there were six seals seen during that time.

Initially alone on LPB were RH76 Kala and PO11. At about 1:13 pm they headed for the water over the rocks. When PO11 rolled over he showed his light male belly. When they went into the water they passed by weaner RU24. At 1:50 pm, Kala and PO11 hauled back out and moved up near RL12 and PO12.

Out on the rock flats Lanikai side of LPB was a weaner which Marilyn believes to be RU24. He stayed on the rock flats during my entire viewing session.

 At 12:17 pm, RL12 Aukai and PO12 hauled out of the water near the middle of LPB. When PO12 briefly rolled over he revealed his male belly. So both PO11 and PO12 are male. ( I think we were all hoping for at least one female). Mom and pup moved up shore and PO12 then nursed for a long time.

At 2:02 pm, a seal hauled out of the SRI channel, Marilyn believes this is RU38. She wasn't absolutely sure but for now going with this ID.

Tammy met up with Lesley and they headed out to the point. Their first find were the cousins RU56 and RU40. They must have had a fun playing together in the early morning.

Next find was RU04. They watched over her while she was having a great time playing with a coconut. Nothing like watching a young weaner at play.

Last seal they came across was out at the point. They ID'd PvKauai RW02.

There are still Albatross chicks out testing their winds.  They also saw the wedgies sitting on their eggs

Team R&B spotted two seals at Maili from afar. The two seals were on shore with signs up. They hurried over but as they arrived the lifeguards informed them the two seals had left the beach. They believe the seals are Kainoa and Leina as they were there yesterday.

They tried looking at other spots, but were coming up empty. They watched the dolphins doing watch they do best having fun.

They made their way out to white plains and sure enough RH48 Lei Ola was on sure. She was alone and continues to molt.

They headed back to the west side, and noticed a seal at yoks way off in a corner. They check it out and there was RL42 Leia who recently weaned her pup.  She looks thin but that's to be expected. 

They noticed a male cruising by, but he never spotted her hidden on shore.

Watching the male swim by in the water they followed it to the cliffs where he came up on shore to look around. He was in cruise mode moving about very fast. They aren't sure who he is, no tags, green on his coat, adult male size, not much else to go on.

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:30 to 3:09 pm and there were eight seals seen during that time.

Mom and Pup pair 1 (probably RL12 and PO12) were on LPB when Marilyn started viewing. The pup was nursing. At about 2 pm, the pup headed into the water and mom had to follow. They swam for about an hour and hauled out again about 3 pm. The pup played with something on the beach before nursing again.

Marilyn became aware of Mom and Pup pair 2 (probably RH76 and PO11) at 1:52 pm on the rocks Lanikai side of LPB. The pup was nursing. Later the pup moved up behind Mom and was still there when Marilyn left. Assuming this is PO11, the pup is five weeks old today.

On the 1BS side of LPB was weaner RU38: weaner size, shape and coloration, two red tags and female belly.

Near waterfront tocks about 40 feet Lanikai side of 3BS were two seals:

Juvenile Male: older coat, yellowish-tan belly and two red tags.

Molted Adult Female: adult size, 100% molted, light gray female belly and two red tags.

Out near the channel of RRB was an Unknown Weaner: weaner size, newer coat, not sure about tags or sex. This is presumably RU24 but Marilyn could not confirm.

Team R&B headed over to white plains to check on RH48. She was alone on shore continuing her molt. They estimate she's about 15% from what they could see.

They also saw a honu plane fly by.... check it out!

At pokai there were no seals but while waiting to see if any would show up, they felt something pass overhead. It was a Iwa bird just above them. They also watched a boobie fly around, catch a fish and then land to rest.

At another west side beach they spotted two seals on shore. When

they got to the site there was RN04 Kainoa and RL70 Leina together again. Thankfully the lifeguards had put out signs with tape.

Checking out the cliffs they saw a male seal. They looked over for a long time but he wouldn't move to give them something to work with. They couldn't tell if he had tags, and didn't see anything familiar so he was reported as an Unknown Male.

Next while driving they spotted a seal on shore at yoks. They went to check and ID'd R416 due to his star burst scar and cc scar above leftflipper and no tags. 

They were on their way to recheck the cliffs, but saw another seal green in color swimming by. They hurried to get closer to get a picture, but the seal was too fast. The seal was reported as an Unknown Adult.
