Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:40 to 2:45 and there were four seals seen during that time.
Initially there were three seals between 1BS and 2BS and one seal between 3BS and SRI. The lone seal later relocated and joined the other three.
The three seals between 1BS and 2BS were:
Juvenile Female: juvenile size, older coat, two red tags and tan female belly.
Adult Male 1: adult size, light gray male belly and two red tags. Marilyn thinks there was a scar on the lower lip which would make the RK24, although she was not sure.
Next Adult Male 2: adult size, dark coat and dark gray male belly. She doesn't think it had any tags.
Between 3BS and SRI was Adult Male 3: adult size, medium gray male belly and two red tags.
At 1:34 pm adult male 3 relocated and joined the other three seals. AM1 and AM3 moved around and switched positions a few times.
About 2:36 AM 1 and AM 3 entered the water and did not haul out again during Marilyn's observations.
Team R&B checked all the usual spots and although it was sunny, there was still brown water and debris. They didn't have any luck finding seals.
So they headed over to KoOlina to check it out. They typically don't like going there because people don't listen.
There were three seals there today and a volunteer on site.
They found Kekoa Alii RK72 way up by the Naupaka. Over to his right was RL08.
There was another seal that was small, no tags and not much they could see that would give them an ID. The volunteer didn't know which seal, but Team R&B thought it might possibly be R416, except he didn't give them much to go on, so they reported him as an Unknown.
