Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 11:50 to 1:25 and there were two seals seen during that time.

Between 3BS and SRI were two seals:

Juvenile Female: juvenile size, light yellowish female belly and two red tags.

Adult Male: adult size, medium to dark gray male belly, Marilyn did not seen tags. At one point she thought she saw a NB on the very tip of RFF, but it could have been sand.

There was one Masked Booby on the outer rim of RI crater and lots of Red-Tailed tropic birds.

Team R&B spent all morning looking, stopping at one spot or another coming up empty. They did see some whales from afar and the boats that were following the

Finally they found R407 Kawika coming up on the rocks. All his markers were visible, no tags, scar on left eye and that beautiful natural bleach on his side.

There were people around but they were all respectful.  Team R&B did see a very silly dog hanging out on top of a rubbish can.

They saw that signs were up at Plains but the seal was gone. So they continued their search and spot a big fat seal way down. It was a good long walk and worth it to find RL12 Aukai. To quote Barbara "she is one far bum bucha!!" 

It was surprising to see so many homeless folks, kayakers, kids, rubbish, you name it.... it was out there.

Aukai remined undisturbed enjoying her nap.
