Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:25 to 1 pm and there were four seals during that time.
Out on the back side of LPB was an Unknown Male: sub-adult to adult size, very light male belly and she did not see any tags. There may be a nb on the RFF which would suggest this is R606.
Near the 3BS was an Unknown Juvenile: small juvenile size, oldercoat, two red tags. Marilyn thinks its probably a female but couldn't be sure so its being reported as an unknown.
Together between 3BS and SRI were two seals:
Sub-adult Male: sub-adult size, light tan male belly, unsure about tags.
Adult Male: adult size, mottled light gray male belly and two red tags.
Team R&B started their day at the bay and it was a better day than yesterday. They were happy to find RH76 Kala. She was somewhat alert but getting herself settled in.
After they left the area they got a call about a seal hauling out in the same area. They hurried back but it was RH76 in her "zen" area doing just fine.
Next stop at another west side location they found two seals together. Both RM31 Kai and R416 were at seal inlet.
They did spot another seal but couldn't make an ID at that time. They had to leave the site, but later returned. They ID'd R617, no tags, two marks on chest area and ding on back between shoulders.
They stopped at Kahe and was thrilled to find his majesty RH32 Kaale. He was on the rocks and there were divers, surfers and aboutsix folks around. Team R&B hung back and watch and thankfully they all left and Kaale remained.
Last but not least, stopping at tracks they spotted a male, looking grubby and no tags seen. They believe this is RN14 Kalani, who they haven't seen in a long time.
