Their first stop once again to check on Miss Kala. Sure enough she was there but on the opposite side from where she normally hangs out. She was alone and just chilling. They waited to see if another seal would show up, but no luck today.
Next stop at yoks they found R3CX Nalu. He was on shore resting alone. He may be preparing for his molt. We'll see what happens in the next few days.
They decided to make the Ka'ena West trek. Their first find was the handsome RP30 Puka. He is nowlooking very clean about 99% complete of his molt, they did see a small patch of old fur on his back side. Its amazing how different they look after their molt, so shiny and new. His cc scar was very visible.
The only other seal they found on their trek was RS20. She was in a small pond cooling off from the heat. She didn't show them much but they were able to see the red tags through the water.
Last but not least at another west side location they found the green houdini. There was RQ42 hiding in the rocks looking handsome. All they can say is thank goodness for flipper flexes.
