September 20, 2023 Wednesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:35 to 2:30 and there was only one seal on island today.
For the first half hour of her viewing there were no seals seen. At 1:06 pm she became aware of a seal hauling out down from the 3BS. She reported the seal as an Adult Female: adult size, two red tags, newer coat and light gray female belly. She looks plump and healthy.

Team R&B were out and about and it took them quite some time to find their first seal. Finally found
Mr RL20 Kalua, who was alone and enjoying the peace and quiet. They hung around and waited if another seal would show up but none did.

At another west side location they were disappointed there were no seals when they arrived. But then they saw movement in the rocks and there was the sweet green Opihi RQ42. Good thing the waves were crashing over him, as they almost missed him.
While on site they spotted a big seal in the rocks resting. This is the spot that R604 got run off yesterday. They hesitated but decided to take a quick look before any people noticed. There she was again R604 alone resting.

Next stop was heading over to the bay. The spot where there is usually a seal was a fisherman. They went around looking and much to their delight they found RH48 Lei Ola. She is looking nice and plump.

Last stop they were thrilled to find two seals together. They were peacefully resting and it was RL42 Leia and R3CX Nalu.
