Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:50 to 2:50 and there were three seals during that time.
On the Lanikai side of LPB was an Unknown Adult: adult to subadult size, older coat, unsure about tags or gender. IT finally moved up the beach shortly before she left.
Out on RRB were two seals:
Draped across water front rocks to the RRB channel was an Adult Female: adult to subadult size, mottled gray female belly, two red tags and possible line scar on the right mid chest. She appears to have some mating "scars" on her left rear area.
Among some of the rocks behind the RRB channel was an Unknown Juvenile: juvenile size, older coat with some green on the belly and two red tags. Marilyn was unable to determine its sex. This seal departed about 1 pm and was not seen again.
Team R&B started their day at the bay today. They were thrilled to find Miss Kala RH76 back in her spot again. She was snoozing in her grassy spot again. Her under side was dirty in color, which made them wonder where she has been. After a bit Kala moved down on the rocks and cooled off in the shallows.
Checking the outfall they spotted a green seal foraging. The fishers said there are usually more seals but today it was just RL20 Kalua doing his thing.
From afar they saw another green seal resting on the rocks. They couldn't tell who it was from a distance so they went to check it out. They headed over and there was RH32 on the rocks alone. (the other fish thief).
While chatting with a friend and they watched Kaale together. Then all of a sudden RL20 hauled up on the rocks with Kaale. (I truly believe these two are related).
