01/13/2021 (part 2) Lesley's Ka'ena Update

I had to go out this afternoon and took the opportunity to do some monitoring and document 4 seals

RL74 Kami and RN58 Luana in side by side on a pool, R330 Squinty on a reef and RO40 Ka'ena hauled out on a beach.
At the point the Albatrosses were enjoying the weird West wind we had today. It messed up the surf for the surfers on this side. We're supposed to have a swell building up tonight and a big one Friday/ Saturday. Lyman's Beach sand has been washed away this past week the beach from our front step to Birth Beach /Tables has no sand only dark boulders. Nature's art.
More tomorrow - Be safe 🌺😷
