Today's dailies are brought to you by Team Billand and Lesley. Lesley's Ka'ena update is part two of the dailies.
Team Billand started their day at the outfall. There was fat boy Ka'ale RH32 doing 5 minute dives. He was alone out there today and his applied bleach was visible.
After Ka'ale filled his belly he made it over to tracks. Team Billand saw him there with Lefty RG28. Both were laying there, Kaale was alert to the surfers passing by. After that Ka'ale left the site and Lefty RG28 stayed.
Team Billand went to another west side site and on their first visit they found Kekoa Alii RK72. He was
on lower rocks alone. On their second visit to the site Kekoa was still their but now R3CU had joined him. R3CU was in the shallows, on the reef with big waves washing over him. He was slow to haul up. There was a woman close by taking her picture.Team Billand went to check the bay even though it's been quiet lately. They were happy to see Miss Lei Ola RH48. She was on the rocks alone, high and dry snoozing the day away. R3CX Nalu was foraging in the choppy windy waters. He was aware of the wind surfers near by. There were no other seals or fishermen around.
Team Billand returned to tracks to check on lefty and was surprised to find four seals on shore. There was RN14 Kalani, RL12 Aukai, RG28 Lefty and RH32 Kaale had returned. With the high waves and a holiday weekend it's going to be a zoo out there.
