As mentioned before Team Billand is having technical issues, but they managed to get me photos and a brief description of the critters. Hopefully their computer will be more cooperative tonight.
Their first sighting was RN14 Kalani hauling up at tracks. He seemed to get spooked and left. Another critter came up and they ID'd RG28 Lefty. While they were watching him haul in they saw the whales off shore, which makes Team Billand very happy. Then here comes trouble, RH32 Kaale. He went and greeted Lefty and the two boys settled in for the day.
They left to check another location and found where RN14 Kalani had gone. He was hauled out on the rocks with RW22 Kolohe. The two were resting quietly.
At another westside location they found RK72 Kekoa Alii, RH76 Kala, and R3CU. They were all hauled out resting.
Lastly at the bay they found RN44 looking quite green. It's going to be fun to see how he'll look once he molts.
Team Billand was out there today covering a lot of ground/sand to ensure the cast of characters were accounted for. It was very upsetting to see them out in the water on Monday going in and out of the net.
