Team Billand spotted Ka'ale RH32 landing at tracks and people immediately were coming around. They called the hotline. The waves were perfect for the surfers. They stuck around for a while and saw another seal slowing coming their way. It passed Ka'ale who had no reaction. They ran over to the trees and the seal came up and the public was thrilled. They called the hotline again. They were able to ID Aukai RL12. Team Billand got ready to leave got to their car and saw another seal coming up on shore. They ran back to find RG28 Lefty hauling up. They attempted a makeshift zone, but people were not paying attention. They called the hotline and while on hold they hung up because another seal was coming in.
RN14 Kalani came in and joined RG28, they greeted each other with a nuzzle, then entered the water.
They headed towards Kaale who then joined them. There was intense fighting and playing, lots of barking from RN14. They did the best to keep the people back. It was crazy so they called the hotline again. Team Billand spotted volunteer Melina by Aukai so they texted her. Melina got some signs up and they watched the boys in action. Team Billand left them in the care of Melina.Team Billand headed over to the bay and only found two critters there today. Lei Ola RH48 was on the rocks to the left snoozing. RN44 was at water front rocks left side also snoozing alone. Seems the fish are gone, after three months of easy eating.
