Team Billand went to meet their favorite breakfast buddy at the all you can eat breakfast seafood buffet. They got a little late start and when they arrived Ka'ale RH32 was already there foraging. At one point he headed towards the right and Robert noticed he had a large stickfish. He was tossing it about, letting it go, catching it and finally just ripped into it. Kept him occupied for a little bit.
Team Billand thought he left, but no he reappeared chasing after an akule and caught it, ate it all up.
He caught another but this time it was attached to the fisherman's line. All was good with this guy, he knows the routine and was able to get the line away before Kaale got himself into trouble. After two hours they lost sight of him They rechecked all the spots but he wasn't around. Team Billand had to leave for a while, but they returned later to check out the area and didn't find Ka'ale or anyone else.
I checked the PlayPen before heading out to KPt. Both weaners were MIA
Just before we got to 10Mnts Beach I saw the familiar shape on the beach RN58 "Luana" was sleeping on the beach not far from the waterline. "Reading" her trails I can say she overnighted. In exact same spot where she was yesterday in the late afternoon.
I managed to sneak aside from our invasive species walk thru the NARS and check the KPt for HMSeals - I was skunked !
Came back in the early afternoon and found both weaners RK88 "Puna" (M) D87 and RK40 "Napua" (F) D81 hauled out on the beach. Will do a sunset check
Happy little camper RH32 Ka'ale
