At the PlayPen RK88 "Puna" (M) D73 and RK40 "Napua" (F) D67 were playing in the water. Puna made his way to the 1st Keiki Cove later followed by Napua. They were tumbled and tossed from one side to the other.
On my way back from the point in the afternoon they were both hauled out on the beach sleeping.
*on one of the pics "Napua" has a fishing rope or net in her mouth. That was something she was diving for a tossing up and side ways playing. When she entered the bathtub she no longer had it.
At 10 Mnts Beach RN58 "Luana" was hauled out on Mokuleia side of the beach - I was there for ~20 minutes when she entered the water and left.
On Ka'ena's side of the beach RG40 "Holokai" was sleeping in the same location I saw him yesterday. On my way back he was still there.
At the Pt I spent over an hour watching a seal go back and forth, in and out of the pool, to all side pools and back again. Turns out it was RK36 "Kauai Kolohe" IDed by his scars on neck and back.
Most of the Albatross chicks have fledged in a day or two there may be no more left. Empty nest feeling is hitting me hard. Hope those whales come soon
