7/23/2018 Monk Seal Dailies: RH32, RR70, RN14 & RH48

Today's dailies are brought to you by Team Billand. Seems it was a slow seal day, so I checked social media (instagram and facebook). There are lots of pictures with little useful information. Sometimes they might indicate what island they are on, but beyond that not much to go on.
The ones that did get my attention was information regarding Kaiwi RK96 being seen recently and perhaps ready to molt.
Honey Girl R5AY has been seen, looking very green and thin, and perhaps ready to molt. I hope it goes quickly for her.  Also Kolohe been around too.  It's a shame things have changed and people aren't sharing the way we use to, I miss having tabs on what is going on with the amazing cast of characters I have grown to know over the years. Oh well back to what we do know:

Team Billand checked out the early morning buffet at the outfall, but there was only Ka'ale RH32 who came in stayed for maybe 10 minutes and then was gone. They followed up at a nearby beach but he wasn't there either. ( little buggah)

Their next find was RIP RR70 at a Leeward Beach he was on the lower rocks, alone and snoozing. He has small bite marks on his his head near eye on left side.

Team Billand went on a trek to Ka'ena West where they found RN14 Kalani. He was on the rocks resting alone. Looking pretty
green, healthy, and robust. Question is will he be molting soon.

Team Billand's last find of day was when they were on their way back from their Ka'ena West trek. They spotted Lei Ola RH48 (who wasn't there earlier) she is still with hook, and very green, but the good news is she is looking good and healthy no new dings or marks.
