The first find of the day for Team R&B was RG28 Lefty resting at pokai at the zen area. They went to look at the front area and went back in time to see RG28 barf. Poor guy his whole body was moving forward. He then dove into the water, swam for two minutes and then came back up on the rocks and went to sleep.
Still at pokai they found Kala RH76 alone snoozing on the rocks. Shemust have been there for a while since her coat was very dry, possibly was there all night. She looked so big.
Then they spotted RL20 Kalua foraging off the jetty. He was alone and never hauled out.
They saw a large male snoozing alone at tracks. Well he was alone until the adoring fans showed up. Team R&B had to leave and when they went back he was gone. The seal was Kaale RH32, they aren't sure what made him leave.
Upon their second visit to Kahe they spotted a seal on the rocks. They checked it out and found a adult male with a scar on the right of his face. They thought maybe RK72, but as they kept looking they noticed he didn't have any tags. Also the facial scar was smaller, then the scar on his right for flipper confirmed it was R617.
An email from posse pal informed me that she came across RM31 Kai on the lower west side. Thank you Kathy.
