January 24, 2025 Friday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:18 to 1:14 pm and there was only one seal seen during that time.
About 50 feet Makapuu side of the 3BS was a RK24 Bruno: adult size, light gray male belly, two red tags and a scar on the right rear side.
There were good waves and lots of surfers on the Lanikai side of Rabbit Island. Marilyn also spent time watching the Masked Boobies
and Sooty Terns, Red-Tailed Tropic Birds and Black Crowned Herons on the island.

Team R&B arrived at pokai and Miss Kala RH76 had just hauled up on the rocks. She seemed very alert and maybe annoyed, looking around. Team R&B didn't see anything, even went and checked another spot. When they got back Lefty RG28 had just hauled in and was with RH76 Kala.

They could see from afar a seal at tracks. It was the same female they saw yesterday with no tags and sshe was alone.
Team R&B continue to watch over the ocean. There was a seal that passed them but was way too fast for them to get a photo or make an ID. But about 20 minutes later, Kaale RH32 hauled out and joined the Unknown Female, along with adoring fans.
Lastly the whales showed up at yoks and put on a good show.
