They had a very late start today due to some unexpected home repairs. Once the dynamic duo were able to put things back together they headed for the beaches.

Their first stop was about 11 am but there were no seals. So they hung out for a bit and watched the beautiful whales.  

Then a call from a friend letting them know there was a seal hauling out at plains. When they got there the seal was roped off . They were able to ID RL12 Aukai and she was alone snoozing peacefully, looking quite relaxed.

They also made a new friend with a curious egret.

Aukai was the only seal they found today, but they did get to see some beautiful views. As always they captured and  shared some photos of the beautiful westside.
