Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 11:55 am to 1:30 pm and there was only one seal seen during that time.
Between 1BS and 2BS was an Adult Male near the waterline on dark sand. A/M: adult size, medium to dark gray male belly. Marilyn did not knowingly see tags, but with the dark sand covering much of the seal she may have missed it.
Team R&B once again had a really slow seal day. They only found one seal foraging off the outfall area. The seal was alone and after watching him they determined it was RM31 Kai.
Other than RM31 they did some dolphins doing what they do best, having fun.
When its a slow seal day Team R&B have a lot of time on their hands and they get to see all kinds of critters like this little sneaky mongoose. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi is that you?
Lastly they got to watch the whales again today. There weren't as many but still a joy to watch!
