11/26/2022 Saturday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Team R&B 💕  Marilyn did attempt to check Rabbit Island but was unable to get to the pier, so she set up at the beach and did not see any seals.

Team R&B's morning started with multiple seals foraging at the outfall this morning. They did their best to get IDs but had to go and pick up junior sealette.  They were surprised to find RL20 in with the group.
RG28 Lefty was there, as well as KG54 Huakai.  There was one seal with some light green, adult size that they just couldn't ID, nor could they tell if there were any tags.

Next area they saw some excited snorkelers and then saw a big clean seal flying (swimming) by them.
They had watched earlier when they were at the outfall, there were three fishermen on the rocks.  All three were still there, and Huakai came in cautiously. She hauled out to the left of the fishermen. She is looking large, fat and beautiful. No hooks, no line, no new wounds. She was well aware of the fishermen on the rocks.

Along with Junior Sealette they found RH76 Kala next.  She was in her spot on the rocks at another location. She was snoozing and alone, so before people arrived they headed off to the next stop.

They decided to make the Kaena West trek. I bet it was a lot more comfortable hiking out there today. The only seal they found was Kai RM31. He was alone and resting.
