Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:35 to 4:10 and there were four seal during her viewing session.
Close to where they were yesterday on the 1BS of LPB were RK24 and S/F/
Most Lanikai direction was RK24 Wawamalu/Bruno: subadult size, light gray male belly, scar on lower lip and two red tags.
Closer to the 1BS was the S/F: subadult size, light gray female belly, no obvious other markers and Marilyn still didn't see any tags even though there were lots of opportunity.
Near 3BS was R7AF-N2: larger juvenile to small subadult size, older coat, tannish yellow male belly, two red tags and a N2 applied bleach.
At 2:11 Marilyn became aware of a smaller seal partically hidden behind rocks at RRB. She determined this was weaner RQ44 Mahina. Weaner size, and female belly. She never got a good look at her rear flippers, but she did briefly see her applied N1 bleach.
Team R&B started their day by finding Kaale RH32 snoozing on the beach near the greenery. He looks to be about 15% into his molt. They watched from a far and he had the usual visitors all excited to see him.
While being on the west side they watched a film crew in old canoes and actors on the water. Looks like the star is Jason Momoa on board. And right on cue the dolphins were jumping like crazy.
Out at Makua Cliffs they spotted Leina RL70 hidden in the rocks. There were two fishermen out there so they waited. They waited for a better view but they had to settle with what they had.
Team R&B made the Kaena West trek and found two seals. They were both resting apart from each other. RM31 Kai was to the right alone. RG28 Lefty was in his usual spot, well hidden in the rocks in a small pond.
