This morning the traffic was backed up until later so they waited it out. Finally before 10 am they made it to a west side location and found RL70 Leina high up in the rocks and hard to see. But her scars on the left side gave them what they needed.
To her right was RL20 Kalua in the same area he was the day before. He was resting peacefully.
Team R&B passed a really dirty section of tracks they noticed a seal. They braved the bushes, homeless camps they finally got to the area and saw R3CX Nalu just resting alone. It's actually a good spot for a seal just dirty from people being filthy. Nalu was doind okay and they took the necessary pictures and quickly left the area.
At another location they found KG54 Huakai high up on the rocks. She was alert and doing okay. They got a couple of pictures, made their ID and moved on so nobody would bother her. She was on her side doing fine.
They spotted a seal from afar and went to check it out. It was Kaale RH32 on shore alone, same spot as yesterday. He is pretty green and will probably molt soon.
They were at yoks when they saw some people near something. They walked over to find RG28 Lefty on shore barking at a child who was yelling at the seal. The Mom was on shore laughing and taking photos. (grrrrr) The Dad was near by and did nothing, so Team R&B walked up to the mom and told her to keep their distance from the seal and let it rest. She agreed.
They made the Ka'ena West trek. They went pass this spot often and usually don't find anything. But today there was RP30 Puka sleeping and tucked in really good.
Lastly they found Puka's brother Rm31 Kai who was on the rocks alone.
