Actually Melody sent photos of Rocky and PO8 from yesterday. She been busy with her new pup at home. A cutie too! Melody mentioned there wasn't a lot going on, Mom and pup went for a swim and rolled in the sand. the kid is growing getting chubby. Also the DLNR being on site has really changed it up at Kaimana Beach. Rocky gets to relax and take care of PO8.
Team R&B were with friends this morning observing the open ocean when they spotted a seal with a green snout heading towards them. They ran over to find RH32 Kaale hauling up on the rocks, looking around. They got the photos they needed and then their camera shut down. Right then some "jerk" below, threw a rock at Kaale, missing him. Kaale rolled over fast and took off out of the rocks. For shame!!
Next they headed over to the outfall, spotting a seal foraging. It was RL20 Kalua filling his belly. And then the King of the outfall arrived, there was RH32 Kaale. He also was foraging filling his belly.
They did spot the three flipper honu again today. Poor thing had a line on its front flipper.
