Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island today and the two weaners (RQ76 and PO7) were the only two seals on island today.
The big news is PO7 received her bling today. She is now RQ44/Q45 Mahina. She reentered the water right after.
Team T&D met up with Lesley and hiked to the point. Their first findwas RL98 Lina. She is about 50% molted.
Just as they arrived they saw Ka'ena RO40 checking out BG's pool.
When they got to the point, they found RL74 Kami resting. She is just about finished with her molt and looking quite pretty.
They spotted a seal entering the pool and they were able to ID Squinty R330. He checked out the main pool and then left. Soon after Ka'ena came to the main pool and tried to get close to Kami RL74.
A little while later Squinty returned and had words with Ka'ena. Seems Ka'ena wasn't into arguing and left. While the boys had been fighting Kami was completely oblivious and slept the entire time. Squinty won out and stayed with Kami. When T&D were leaving Squinty and Kami were playing in a small pond.
Team R&B had some appointments today so they went out early. They were happy to find on the rocks R3CX Nalu alone relaxing. He seems to be doing just fine.
Next stop they spotted a seal on the rocks, when they went to check they couldn't find it. Finally they spotted it again. There was RL70 Leina resting on the rocks. They could see her white nails, scar on the right side of her neck. She's been MIA for a bit so it's good having her back.
At another west side location they found the green munchkin. RP30 Puka was alone resting on therocks. He was slumped over the rocks, how that is comfortable I will never know.
Lastly they went to check hoping they would find these two. Sure enough there was RN14 Kalani and RL12 Aukai. There was a good size zone set up and volunteer was on site (yea!) The two were resting, but it seemed RN14 wanted to go in the water. Aukai was not interested and just slept. So they both remained on shore.
