September 13, 2019 (part 2) Lesley's Ka'ena Update

Yesterday on my later afternoon check I found RH32 "Ka'ale" molt ~40%

I finally made it back to the point today. First stop was to check on RH32 "Ka'ale" molt ~80%. Molt is going faster now after baking for over a week on the beaches here in front.

I saw a small trail on the beach that could be of the weaner and although I looked for him I didn't get to see him.

RW02 "PVKauai" was also no where to be found so I still don't know if he is molting or not.  More tomorrow
