I am sure you have seen the news, an official announcement of a reward for information leading to the arrest or conviction of responsible person(s) for the recent deaths. I want to applaud William Aila and the DLNR for stepping forward with this TIP hotline. The Humane Society of the United States have been actively involved in the well being of the monk seals. as well as the other non profit groups.
We can only hope this helps, however it felt really good to watch the news and see there is something being done, and the authorities are pursuing this.

Thank you so much for sharing this story. All of us at the HSUS hope that the person(s) responsible for the deaths of these monk seals will be quickly identified, and we are happy to support these efforts in Hawaii.

AGAIN, from me personally and I am sure in behalf of all our volunteers, posse people, THANK YOU.
Unfortunately, I know there are many many situations across the country, but to have your support for the critically endangered Hawaiian monk seals really does matter to us and them. We need organizations like the Humane Society to bring attention to their plight.

Knowing that the authorities are doing something makes me feel at ease. What if we share this poster to facebook or twitter? I think it would be an effective way of spreading the news!
