Kaiwi
(RK96) had last been officially seen at SC, 3 days ago. I found her this morning
, tucked into her Naupaka bush at Crappy Cove, Sandy Beach at 0648. She would
move down to cool off at midday, and has remained all day. She was still amongst
the rocks when we departed at dark.
At 1000 Dana called with a
report from HPD about a possibly injured animal at the Blowhole Lookout. When I
arrived at 1008, I found a happy and healthy Irma (R010) in the small cove on
the Sandy Beach side of the Lookout. She has remained the rest of the day.
On my 2nd look at Rabbit
Island at 1150, I found M38 and Duke(RA12) together on the water front rocks,
left of Rocky Right Beach . They remained the rest of the day.
Team Billand reported Kermit
(R012) once again fronting Ewa Beach Park a 0732.
At 0847 they found M&M
(R020) at the 186F access in Ewa Beach.
At 1447
the Billands found Pohaku (RO28) at Tracks.
Dana called at 1529 to report that she had received
email from a KP visitor who saw 6 seals today. Awaiting photos.
Kelly Girl checked in at 1712 with word of spending
quality time with Ua Malie (RT10) at High Rock again today.
