Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 11:57 am to 2:02 pm and there were four seals seen during that time.

Initially in the middle of LPB were two seals:

Adult Female: adult size, older coat, mottled gray female belly and two red tags. It appeared she might have some mating scars on her left rear side.

Right next to her was Adult Male 1: adult size, about 90% molted with medium gray male belly, did not see tags. Marilyn saw his pit scar when he was in a certain position.

Up near the cliff behind the Adult Female and Adult Male 1 was a Juvenile Female. She is the same J/F Marilyn has been seeing on LPB. larger juvenile size, newer coat, tan female belly and two red tags.

About 1 pm Adult Male 2 hauled out of the LPB surge channel and moved up to the Juvenile Female, and then later to the Adult Female.  A/M 2: adult size, new coat, light gray male belly and two red tags.

Marilyn saw two pairs of Masked Boobies on the outer crater rim. IT will be interesting to see if there will be two chicks on RI this year.

Team R&B searched from morning to later in the day and did not see any seals. Not one, this had to be disappointing for them.

All was not lost, they did see a whale while in the area at yoks.

And they got to enjoy watching the dolphins at two different locations.
