They started their day at pokai and went and sat on the rocks. They watched out over the ocean but there were no dolphins,  no seals, no honu and no sharks out there today.

While sitting they heard a snort, which surprised them, so where was the seal? 

Finally they found RH76 Kala hidden really well in the rocks. It took some moving around to get a decent photo of Miss Kala.  Then they heard people getting closer so they left immediately to keep her hidden and safe.

Next they were closely watching a family of tourist on the edge of the rocks and thinking it was so dangerous with the huge waves.

Then all of a sudden they spotted a spout out on the water which caught their attention. There were the whales, three of them. They were moving fast heading in the direction of Honolulu.

Team R&B are out there everyday and they still have an amazing appreciation for the beauty that surrounds them and how lucky we live Hawaii.

While appreciating the spectacular view they spotted something shiny in the water, of course it was a seal.  The seal fought the big surf and hauled out hiding itself in the rocks. They could see the left side scar on its neck, scar on its back and white nails. That was it, they knew they were in the company of RL70 Leina. She is looking good and mighty plump.

A line of cars had arrived at the site, and a truck load of people, so Team R&B left in a hurry.  Hopefully Miss Leina stays hidden away and is safe.
