Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 11:45 am to 1:20 pm and there were five seals seen during that time.

Out on the Lanikai side of LPB in his usual location was weaner RT19. He was ID'd by his weaner size, light male belly and two red tags.

RS12 Hoku was initially in the center of LPB. She was ID'd by her juvenile size, older coat, tan female belly and some green, two red tags and her dorsal N3 applied bleach.

Not too far away was a group of three seals:

Adult Female: adult size, new coat, light gray female belly and two red tags. She appears to have a scar in her upper chest/lower neck area.

Weaner RT90 Manapua: chubby weaner size, two red tags, light male belly.

RP24 Mohala (RF34's 2021 Rabbit Island pup and RT90's sister) She is the SF/AF that Marilyn has been reporting. For the first time today Marilyn confirmed her nb on her RFF. She is sub-adult size, about 50% molted, gray female belly, two red tags and the nb on RFF.

About 12:40 pm, RT90 Manapua rolled down to the water line and entered the water. A short time later RS12 moved down into the water and she and RT9- played in the nearshore waters until Marilyn lost sight of them.

Team R&B were dealing with bad traffic early this morning, so they headed further west. While on the road they saw a chopper in the air picking up water with a basket.  Not sure if they were actively putting out a fire or if it was just a drill.

They finally were able to make their way to Kahe and found one seal. There was RM31 Kai resting peacefully.

Team R&B made their way to Makaha and were happy to find a seal, well they thought it was one seal turned out to be two seals. The waves were hitting high up so they had to keep their distance.

One seal they ID'd as RL42 Liea and the male with her was RH32 Kaale. Needless to say they were

delighted to find the two.

They took a step down and that's when they discovered a third seal. It's tag red P28, which they were not familiar with. Thanks to a friend through the monk seal grapevine they were told it was KC's pup from Kauai. RP28 is KC's pup from 2021. What an exciting find!

He has a cc scar under belly, a small cc scar on left neck, a ding on his back and over all a cutie!
