August 11, 2024 Sunday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:35 to 2:20 pm and there were four seals seen during that time.
On the Lanikai side of LPB was weaner RT19 close to where he seems to be hanging out these days. He was ID'd by his weaner size and coloration, light male belly and two red tags.
Slightly Makapuu side of 1BS was a Adult Female: adult to sub-adult size, older coat, greenish gray female belly, two red tags and a line scar on the lower lip.
Together near SRI were two seals:
RS12 Hoku: larger juvenile size, older coat with greenish gray female belly, two red tags and a N3 applied bleach.
Near RS12 was weaner RT90 Manapua with his large weaner size, light male belly and two red tags.
* Marilyn is still having internet problems, but was able to get todays update out, of which I am grateful.

Team R&B had another very slow seal day. They started out in the morning and then again in the afternoon being entertained by dolphins.  There were babies in the pod, little ones about 2-3 feet
long. They stuck to their moms and the others like an Ohana.  Such smart and beautiful creatures.

The only seal they found today was at the cliffs. The beach was so crowded so they checked it out and ID'd RP30 Puka. He has started to molt on his face, from what they could see. They did not stay long as they didn't want to expose his well hidden spot.
