February 29, 2024 Leap Day! Thursday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn.  Team R&B had appointments today and did not get out to  find any critters.

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:48 to 2:20 and there were three seals seen during that time frame.

Almost directly down from the 1BS was a Sub-adult Female: sub-adult size, light gray female belly and two red tags.

Between 3BS and SRI was a Juvenile Female: juvenile size, older coat, yellowish brown female belly and two red tags.

At 1:57 pm, Marilyn became aware of a seal hauling out about 50 feet Makapuu side of the 3BS. She labeled it an Unknown Sub-adult: sub-adult size, two red tags and unsure of its sex.

A pair of masked boobies were together on the outer crater rim of the island.
