In yesterday's news posse pall Justin T sent word that RN04 was seen on the south east side.  He informed the hotline and submitted photos of what he believed to have a white lure on the left side of his mouth. He did his best to capture this in his photo but he was in the water and on the move.

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:40 to 1:50 and there were two seals seen during that time.

Out on the rock flats Lanikai side of LPB was an Unknown Unknown: probably sub-adult to adult size, older tannish coat, not sure about sex or tags.

On the rock flats near SRI was an Adult Female: adult size, light gray somewhat mottled female belly and a line scar on her mid right upper chest. Marilyn believes she has seen this female before.

Team R&B first stop they found RL08 on the rocks. He was alone and resting. One of the local characters was there yelling at the seal. 

Thankfully he finally left and RL08 was alert but stayed in place. Team R&B left to check out other areas.

Next stop was to the Nimitz cabins where they spotted a seal.  One of the folks were close by taking photos so they hurried over. The seal was ID'd as R407. The waves were coming in hitting him and he took off and spent some time foraging.

R407 kept going to they followed along knowing where he was heading. Sure enough he hauled out on the reef and all the people

were excited to see him. They talked to them asking them to give the seal some space.  

After leaving R407 they headed over to plains. When they arrived they saw a lifeguard rushing over to put up signs. Looks like RL12 Aukai had just hauled up on shore.

Team R&B went over and thanked the lifeguards, since they have known them for many years and they continue to help out looking out for the seals.  They informed the hotline and left for other stops.

They got word from a friend that a 2nd seal was with RL08. So they headed back to check and there on the rocks was RH32 Kaale. He looks to be just fine.  RL08 was aware of RH32 but there were no interaction

Last stop at the cliffs they spotted a seal that was hidden really well. They stood looking trying to make an ID for awhile. Finally they spotted its cc scar and were able to determine it was RL42 Leia.,  There were some folks in the area, and Team R&B did their best to keep her presence hidden by looking in a different direction.
